Privacy & GDPR
What we collect, why, and how to ask us to forget you.
Who we are
Domma CMS is operated by DCBW IT Ltd, a UK-registered company. The data controller for this site is the same. You can contact us at support@dommajs.org for any privacy-related question.
What we collect
When you register a Domma CMS site we collect:
- Your name, email address, and company / site name
- The domain you'd like to use
- Payment details — handled and stored by Stripe; we never see your card number
- Diagnostic logs of requests to your site (IP, user-agent, request path) for fourteen days
When you visit this marketing site we set a small first-party analytics cookie (cookieless mode is on — no cross-site tracking). Cookie preferences are remembered in your browser via a single consent cookie.
What we do with it
- Run your site. Provision it, host it, send you the welcome email, send you renewal receipts.
- Keep it secure. Diagnose abuse, throttle bad actors, investigate incidents.
- Talk to you when you ask us to. Support emails, billing questions, occasional product updates if you opt in.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing platforms. We use Stripe (payments), our own SMTP relay (email), and our own infrastructure (everything else).
How long we keep it
- Account data — for as long as your site is active, plus thirty days after cancellation
- Backups — thirty days, then permanently deleted
- Diagnostic logs — fourteen days
- Support emails — two years from last reply
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- Ask for a copy of all data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct any of it
- Ask us to delete it (the "right to be forgotten")
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
Email support@dommajs.org with the subject line "GDPR request" and we'll reply within seven working days.
Cookies {#cookies}
This site uses three categories of cookies:
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session, CSRF, consent | Always on |
| Functional | Theme, accessibility preferences | On with consent |
| Analytics | First-party page-view counting (cookieless mode) | On with consent |
We do not use marketing cookies on this site. Sites you create with Domma CMS may use additional cookies depending on the plugins you enable — that's your call as the operator of your site.
Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you believe we've mishandled your data. We'd much rather you tell us first so we can put it right.
